Our Demos

We have put together some demonstration clips taken from actual events we have filmed to give you an example of our filming standards

Looking for something specific? We have tagged each of our demos with the style of dance so you can find specific examples of dance style.

A Chance to Dance 2017 - The Tap Dance Kid (Jul 2017)
Company: Studio One
Location: Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre
This event filmed in the very large Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre features 6 cameras. 2 static cameras at the stalls level rear of the theatre, 1 static at the front edge of the stage with extreme wide angle lens and 3 manned tracking cameras located central stall and left/right from the circle.

Omelette! the Musical (Jul 2016)
Company: The Company Present
Location: Westcliff Theatre Clacton
Beautifully lit stage and some great colour grading really helped to make the colours pop on this production. We also used a camera raised at the very top of the theatre to enable a view of the projection screens incorporate into the stage set.

The Company Presents - Solo Tap Performance (Jul 2015)
Company: The Company Present
Location: Westcliff Theatre Clacton
This is a perfect example of our stage microphones picking up the tap dance of this solo performance. Once edited to the sound track CD we get a perfect level mix ensuring every single tap is audible

Heads or Tails Tap Performance (May 2015)
Company: Tina Phelps Stage School
Location: The TownGate Theatre - Main Auditorium
A wonderful example of a tap dancing performance with really vibrant coloured costumes that really stood out in the filming. Very little colour correction required during the editing process. We had 2 stage microphones set to capture the tap dancing which was then mixed with the Theatre microphones for ambience and the CD tracks to complete the mix.

Top Hat & Tails Tap Dancing (Nov 2014)
Company: Melana Dance
Location: Portsmouth Guildhall
This tap dance performance was taken from the Melana Dance production 'One Night Only' filmed at the Portsmouth Guildhall. This demonstrates well the stage microphones we use to capture tap dancing sound. This is then mixed with the theatre microphones and a copy of the CD tracks to give a full, rich and live sound.

Come fly with me - Tap Performance (Jul 2014)
Company: Classique School of Dance
Location: The Kings Theatre
Of course stunning quality filming is nothing without sound to match, and with many tap performances in the Classique show ensuring the quality of the sound was one of the key requirements to this event. This is always a challenge to any filming company, but thanks to our high quality theatre microphones we are able to capture tap dance sound as demonstrated in this clip. With 5 microphones and sound recorders placed around the theatre including dedicated stage microphones at floor level we are able to record perfect quality taps as well as capturing the 'live performance' sound you will hear.
